The Dudullu-Bostanci metro line, which will connect Maltepe, Kadıkoy, Atasehir and Umraniye districts on the Anatolian Side, run by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), was put into service on January 6, 2023.

Subway line; On the Anatolian side, Maltepe, where approximately 1.7 million people live, connects the districts of Kadıkoy, Atasehir and Umraniye. The line provides integration with sea lines and other rail system lines at different points.

The line, built with the latest technology electro-mechanical system, will serve as a “Full Automatic Driverless Subway” and will be able to run once in 90 seconds. With the metro, which will reduce the distance between Bostanci and Dudullu to 21 minutes, 44,400 passengers can be transported in one direction per hour. For safety at the stations, “Full Height Platform Separator Doors” were used to prevent falling by rail. Within the scope of the investment, an underground car park with a total capacity of 2 thousand 831 vehicles, 869 in Bostanci and 1,962 in Kozyatagi, is being built.
